I am a resident of New Albany, IN, and a local freelance photographer based in the Louisville (KY) / Southern Indiana Metro area. I own J. Glover Media and I shoot professional headshots, special events, meetings, family photos, sporting events, etc.
I primarily shoot photos as an artistic outlet and source of personal expression. While I have never been an artist in the truest sense of the word, photography does provide me my best shot at artistic expression.
When not helping clients or shooting photos for fun I try to be very an involved member of the Southern Indiana community. Primarily a university administrator and small business owner, I am also a proud member of the Rotary Club of New Albany where I currently serving as the club’s vice-president. I also serve on the board of directors for the Floyd Memorial Foundation where I serve as secretary for one of the community’s largest foundations.
A native of New Albany, I graduated from New Albany Sr. High School. While at New Albany, I was the football and basketball play-by-play radio voice of the Bulldogs for WNAS 88.1 FM. Before starting my professional career in college athletics, I worked at several local radio stations including Louisville’s ESPN Radio1570-WSZ. I also spent time as a college basketball analyst for WVHF-TV where I provided play-by-play and color commentary for local basketball games. I started my career working at the University of Louisville in the athletic media relations department.
I attended and graduated from Indiana University. I graduated with distinction from IU Southeast with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. I also earned my M.B.A. from the IU Southeast School of Business.
